In the same way you need to exfoliate your body to
remove the build up of dead skin cells it is also very
important to exfoliate your face. Maybe even more
important than exfoliating your body as the face is on
show and this build up will leave your face looking
tired, dull and older than it really is.
The
facial exfoliators, or scrubs, will contain small
scrubbing particles which will slough away the dead skin
from your face leaving it feeling smooth and soft and
looking younger.
It
is especially important that you have smooth exfoliated
skin when shaving as it helps to prevent things such as
razor drag, razor burn and annoying painful ingrown
hairs and of course it means you get a smoother closer
shave
It
is best to exfoliate your face once or twice a week,
first wet your face and then apply a 10p piece size of
exfoliant to your face, add more if needed. Apply in
small circular movements all over your face. When
finished wash all of the product off either by splashing
or using a face cloth or flannel.
Dry by patting with a towel, then either continue by
shaving you face or applying moisturiser to your face to
help it stay healthy and to protect it from
the elements.
