Other styling products include a diverse range of products which all do very different things.  There are creams, lotions, serums, moulding crème, fiber, clays and paste.

All these have different qualities and the best way to pick the one to suit your needs best is to read the qualities of each product and see which one does what your want it to. 

In general, creams provide good hold with pliable flexible control.  They give hair a natural shine and help to thicken hair, normally they will shampoo out easily, especially the ones which are water based.

Lotions provide hold, control and support while remaining pliable.

Serums provide intense help to the places that need it most, serums are more of a treatment than a product which will hold or style hair.

Moulding crèmes remain pliable while giving good hold and a matte finish.

Fiber enables you to mould and sculpt into any style while thickening, texturising and increasing fullness in the hair.  It provides a strong pliable hold with a matte finish.

Clays allow hair to be pushed, pulled and moved in any direction, providing a variable hold with a low shine.

Pastes provide a strong yet pliable hold with a natural finish. 

All styling products work best on clean hair and it is best to always read the directions on the individual product to make sure you get the best out of it.  All these products can be removed with shampoo.
